Charli Palmer
I’m Charli – A Documentary Style, Wedding Photographer and Film-maker, born and bred in Yorkshire. I’ve got a huge passion for capturing emotion and feelings at weddings. Belly laughs, tears on cheeks, hand holds, big squeezy hugs; that’s my jam, and I love using natural light. I got into weddings about 4 years ago – I love anything a bit quirky or original, and don’t even start me on how much I love dogs at weddings.
Hollie Mateer
Hey, I’m Hollie. I’ve been lucky enough to have been photographing weddings professionally since 2016. I work exclusively in a documentary style and photograph weddings alongside my husband, Patrick, as M and G Photographic. I also handle all the editing: I love editing weddings nearly as much as I do photographing them (please remind me I said this come crazy season in July / August). We live in East Yorkshire and have a beautiful young family which keeps us busy! On a wedding day you’ll find me… well, hopefully you won’t find me, as I like to be as discreet as possible, capturing real moments and real memories.
Joanne Bridle
I’m Jo, 41yrs born and bred in Manchester, I live with my partner of 23yrs and 3 dogs (Axel, Lilly & Poppy) and life really is bliss. I started in the wedding industry in 2001 as the front female singer of a wedding band and was for 16 years. However, in 2012 when I did my very 1st wedding photography job for a wonderful couple, I was hooked. They had already booked the band (I was the singer) so they took a chance on an up and coming wedding photographer and I was so chuffed, looking back it’s still one of my favourite weddings and I still use the images today. I can’t thank them enough for giving an aspiring photographer a lucky break. My approach to wedding photograph is listen, now, that might seem strange as a photographer who relies on their eyes, but the ability to listen to what’s going on around you helps you be in the right place for that true Keeping It Real Moment. I don’t really have a specific style; it’s really down to my couples. Each wedding I shoot reflex’s the couples ideas but as a general rule, you could say 85% of the wedding I shoot what my ears hear or what my eyes see. The other 25% is couple portraits and group shots, that’s when the megaphone comes out.
