Liza Moura

Hi, I’m Liza, and I’m a wedding photographer based out of Toronto. I shoot together with my husband, Diego, and we absolutely love to work together.

Had you told me 5 years ago that I would be a judge for a wedding photography contest I would look at you all crazy and laugh. I strived for a dependable 9-5 job and never considered becoming an artist of any sort, but I grew up in an artistic household and I’ve always loved photography, especially travel photography. I was that annoying friend who would take a million pictures to get just the right shot.

Diego introduced me to the world of professional photography soon after we met and I took to it immediately. Weddings were another world of its own though, a world where the weight of responsibility terrified me, but it took me just one wedding though, just one couple crying tears of joy when looking at their photos, to fall in love with capturing memories that our couples can look back on years from now and relive every moment and every raw emotion.

Diego and I love challenges and a bit of competition, so the first thing we do after each wedding is sift through the thousands of images we’ve captured to see who got the winning shot of the day. Now, I’m excited to see all the amazing submissions from the PKIR community to see who got the winning shots of the summer! Thank you so much for having me as a judge, and good luck!

Hi I’m Dan Morris, a Cheltenham based Welshie. I have been a wedding photographer since sacking the day Job as an engineer. To date I have photographed over 350 weddings in 15 different countries.

As well as wedding photography I have a big passion for street photography. It has certainly had in impact on my wedding photography. Some benefits have been, great training for the eye, patience and seeking out those special moments.

I am also co host of The Wedding Street Podcast. What it says on the tin. All about wedding and street photography.
